Description
Artistic interpretation of an Electric Guitar X-ray. X-rays use electromagnetic radiation to produce images. Electric Guitars, use electromagnetic induction to convert the vibrations of the metal strings into electric signals. These in turn fed to an amplified loudspeaker to produce the unique sound of an electric guitar. Originally conceived in 1931, the electric guitar is synonymous with rock and roll music and countless other genres. X-rays are able to penetrate solid objects, and then images can be captured on specialised photographic plates or by modern computer radiography. The artwork here is not an actual X-ray, but my interpretation of what an X-ray would reveal.
